BA Live Sound Production Bursary   £2000 payable over two academic years, as two £1000 instalments. Note that the second payment is subject to successful progression to the second year.   All new Home/EU full-time entrants starting in September 2017 on BA Live Sound Production are automatically eligible and need not apply. You must be starting the course at Level 4 and studying full-time. Please note this bursary is not available for the BA Live Sound with Foundation Year course. London College of Music Academic Scholarship 3 £4250 bursary / credit towards study Three scholarships are available to prospective students intending to follow a full-time undergraduate course with the London College of Music. The Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and potential to achieve.

MMus Performance or MMus Performance (work based learning)
students
  £3,000 towards full-time fees for the academic year starting in September 2017.

To apply for the scholarship you will need to have received an offer of a full-time place on the MMus Performance or MMus Performance (work based learning) course for the academic year starting in September 2017.

The duties attached to the scholarship are to rehearse and MD two of the music theatre shows and undertake limited duties as a rehearsal pianist.

The Steinway Fellowship is is available to an outstanding piano student who is studying for either a BMus Performance or MMus Performance at the London College of Music.

A successful candidate will be selected on the basis of merit by LCM, and the recipient will be known as a Steinway Student specialist, who will focus on advising the wellbeing of the instruments

The Fellowship is open to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students, but only one Fellowship will be issued.

Talbot House Trust Bursaries  2 £1,500

Two scholarships are available to current students who are studying Music, Dance or Drama at the London College of Music. The Bursaries are awarded on the basis of academic standing. 

Selection is based on financial need and applicants must be aged between 16 and 25.

The Steinway Scholarship  1 £2,500

This Scholarship is available to an outstanding piano student who is studying for either a BMus Performance or MMus Performance at the London College of Music.

Candidates will have to complete an application form stating their academic record to date and may be required to attend auditions or interviews.

The Scholarship is open to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students, but only one Scholarship will be issued.

The Worshipful Company of Glovers Bursary 1 £4,275 This bursary is open to 2nd Year Performing Arts Students in need of financial support at the London College of Music. Candidates will have to complete an application form stating their academic record to date and will need to provide detailed information on their financial circumstances. The Patricia Evans Award 1 £500

This award is available to both undergraduate or postgraduate composition students at the London College of Music. It will be awarded to the highest achieving composition student, or divided between two students if appropriate.

Scholarship for MA in Record Production   £2,000 towards full-time fees for the academic year starting in September 2016.

To apply for the scholarship you will need to have received an offer of a full-time place on the MA in Record Production course for the academic year starting in September 2015.

The duties attached to the scholarship are to undertake location and studio recordings of selected performances by LCM students including cast recordings for Musical Theatre.

The bursary consists of a £3,000 award payable over three academic years. The offer consists of £1,000 (per academic year) towards the cost of study, including the cost of learning materials, catering outlets, Paragon accommodation and transport costs. Read full bursary details.

Path to Success Scholarship - for Home/EU entrants on a four-year degree with a foundation year starting in September 2017 or January 2018  

The scholarship consists of a £4,000 cash award payable in four instalments over two academic years (£2,000 per academic year).

UWL Aspire Bursary   Up to £100 per year, (up to £300 total)

If you are a full-time or part-time home/EU undergraduate student starting a programme in 2017-18 paying the £9,250 fee you should be eligible for the Aspire Bursary. Full time students will receive £100 and part time students will receive £50 each year throughout their Undergraduate study (up to 3 years).

Top-up Bursary   £3,000

The University of West London is offering a Top-Up Bursary to all new Home/EU entrants enrolling in September 2017 onto Level 6 of a full-time undergraduate top-up degree. The scholarship consists of a £3,000 award payable in three £1,000 instalments.

All new Home/EU entrants enrolling in September 2017 onto Level 6 of a full-time undergraduate top-up degree at the University are automatically eligible and need not apply.

Scholarships for prospective part-time undergraduate students

Part-time scholarships   A fee waiver of £1,500 for every year of study is available for undergraduate part-time students who started their course in or after September 2014.

In order to be eligible, students must fulfil all criteria below:

  • be Home or EU students;
  • have a household income of up to £42,600; for students starting their course in 2016/17, the threshold is £42,875.
  • studying a part-time course consisting of a minimum of four modules per year or a part-time intensive course.
