Foundation degree in Health and Social Care: assistant practitioner

FdSc Health and Social Care: Assistant Practitioner

Our foundation degree is a two-year part-time intensive course which combines academic study at University (one day a week) with workplace learning (supported by a mentor).

With half of the learning taking place at work, you can continue to work throughout your studies.

The course is for unregistered health and social care workers (ie support workers/healthcare assistants), who are working in or preparing themselves for an assistant practitioner role.

Find out more about the FdSc Health and Social Care: Assistant Practitioner by downloading our leaflet (pdf, 480kb) or visiting the full course description.

Contact Dr Swapna Williamson, Course Leader, for more information.
