Certificates and transcripts


If you have misplaced your original:
  • degree certificate
  • transcripts
  • course syllabus
and require copies for purposes of further study, future employment or to fulfill overseas visa criteria etc, there are a number of options available to you as the university will provide replacement documentation depending on your requirements. 

A dedicated team work with the University’s archived records to find and crosscheck the sensitive and detailed information contained in this documentation and to provide all the information required.

Please be aware that certificates take a minimum of four weeks and transcripts / letters of reference a minimum of three weeks to issue.

Read on for more information and the corresponding costs.

Certificates

If you have lost your original degree certificate and require a replacement copy please contact the Alumni Relations Team with the following information:
  • your full name at graduation
  • the year you started your course
  • the year you graduated
  • the subject you studied
  • details of the obtained qualification (eg BA, MA, PhD)
  • the address your certificate should be sent to
  • your method of payment.
NB Before we can action your request, you will be required to complete and sign a request form confirming your original certificate has been lost.

The cost for a replacement certificate is £35.

Please make sure you include all the above information in your request.

Transcripts and Course Syllabi

If you are going on to further study you may need to show evidence of the modules that you studied while you were at University of West London; this information can be provided in a Transcript. 

If you would like to request a Transcript please complete and submit the online request form.

There is a £10 charge for a transcript with an additional £10 charge for the whole course syllabus if requested.

Faculty of Health and Human Sciences Faculty Transcript of Training

The Faculty of Health and Human Sciences can provide a 'Transcript of training' of post-qualifying short courses or for an incomplete pre-registration nursing course. showing:
  • modules
  • results
  • credit levels
  • points
There is no fee for this service.

If you would like to request a transcript please complete and submit this online request form.

Please make sure you specify all the documents needed in your request form.

Faculty of Health and Human Sciences Transcripts for Overseas Registration

Transcript for Overseas Registration requests are subject to a fee of £30 sterling before your request can be actioned.

If you would like to request a transcript please contact the Alumni Relations team, by e-mail or post only, with the following information:
  • your full name at the time of training
  • the full address of the overseas board and any forms for completion by the training school
  • the hospital at which you trained
  • the course undertaken
  • the month and year that you commenced training
  • your date of birth
  • your registration PIN.
A copy of your transcript will be dispatched directly to the overseas board, as most boards do not accept transcripts sent by an individual.

A second copy will also be sent to your own address.

Payment

Personal cheques are not accepted.

Postal orders or bankers drafts are to be made payable to University of West London.

Debit / Credit card payments (except American Express) can be made by contacting the University's Cash Office quoting general ledger code: 1577JCMN01064

The Cash Office will forward the receipt to the appropriate Student Records Office who will send it on with your documentation.
