With a rich heritage of training excellence spanning more than 140 years, at University of West London we pride ourselves on offering our students an education which prepares them for the challenges they will face after university. 

Thanks to our business facing nature we are able to offer our students amazing opportunities to experience the workplace whilst studying, making us the foremost employer engagement university in the country.  

In recent years our achievements across all our disciplines have been recognised, as we were named in the 2009 Guardian league table as being number 1 in England for Nursing and Midwifery training and number 1 in the country for graduate employment.  Most recently we were awarded a Queen's Anniversary Prize for excellence in hospitality education.

Over the coming years our mission is to consolidate our position so that we can offer an educational experience fit for the 21st century, ready to deliver the calibre of graduates' employer's demand. 

We cannot move forward alone, maintaining our position will pose many challenges, none more demanding than the anticipated cuts in higher education funding; we must therefore draw on the support of our network of alumni, friends and corporate partners.
