First alumni calling
Alumni e-newsletter - Summer edition
University of West London Alumni Calling Campaign
Although the University of West London Alumni Programme is only two years old, we decided to take a very big step this year and reach out to the warmest and most responsive members of our alumni community in a telephone calling campaign that has spanned our summer so far.
The campaign has been running since early June and has included calls to alumni from Ealing Law School, The London School of Hospitality and Tourism, The School of Nursing and Midwifery, the Faculty of the Arts and the Business, Computing and Technology Schools totalling just over 7000 alumni altogether.
We are currently half way through the campaign and are thrilled to report that response has been extremely positive and we have been able to talk to about 4000 alumni so far.
This has meant that on the one hand, our database of active alumni has grown considerably since calling began, now totalling almost 9000, so we have been working hard to update our records in time for this latest edition of the e-newsletter.
As a result we hope to see this increased activity reflected in the number of alumni related events we can offer in the coming year as well as the number of alumni coming back to visit the university and participate in current University of West London life.
On the other hand we are also extremely pleased to report that the number of alumni donating to the university has increased massively by almost 300 since calling began.
Donors have been able to contribute towards the following bursary funds and the chart below is an indication of how successful each fund has been so far, please see support us pages for more information on the following funds:
