"Opera performance supports dementia-friendly events" thumbnail.

The Last Siren: a dementia friendly opera.  

A film about a contemporary opera hosted by UWL and the Geller Institute for Ageing and Memory, in partnership with the London College of Music and The Music Troupe. This Dementia-Friendly production, preceded by a short workshop, offered insights into the world of opera and gave audience members the opportunity to sing along with the opera performers.

A film about an event hosted by UWL and the Geller Institute for Ageing and Memory in collaboration with Nubian life. This event brought local people from minority communities together in an opportunity to socialise and make new memories within a culturally sensitive and understanding environment.

"Nubian Life celebrates the 75th anniversary of the windrush generation" thumbnail

GIAM in collaboration with Nubian Life Resource centre, and the Fulham Palace Trust, hosted a celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Windrush Generation to celebrate the contributions of the Windrush generation to British society. It was attended by over 80 older people from the community across West London.
