Our part-time courses are designed to meet the needs of people working with information technology.
FdSc Computer Systems Management (with HP Certified Professional)
The national and local labour market information that tells us that the UK IT industry is facing a skills shortage. The national picture shows that the skills gaps are particularly pronounced in the areas of systems integration, systems testing, and systems installation and commissioning. As a result the FdSc in Computer Systems Management has been developed in conjunction with Hewlett Packard, one of the world's leading ICT solution providers, to provide a generic core set of skills that will enable foundation graduates to undertake a wide range of roles together with specialist, up to date, industry designed training and education that specifically addresses the major skills gap.
Attendance is alternate Saturdays plus one evening alternate weeks, plus some commercial training.

CPPD Computer Networking (CISCO CCNA)
Networking skills are key to the implementation of IT systems from simple SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) systems to those in large companies. Indeed computer networking is one of the fastest growing sectors within the IT industry. As a result the CPPD has been developed to provide a core set of networking skills that meet the national requirement for well trained, competent adaptable computing professionals together with the opportunity to gain industry recognised CISCO qualifications.
The course has multiple modes of operation on Saturdays and evenings:
Fast track - Saturdays 16 weeks (Ealing)
Standard track (Saturdays) - Saturdays for one year (Ealing)
Standard Track (two evenings) - Two evenings for one year (Reading)
Standard Track (one evening) - One evening for two years (Ealing)

FdSc Computing and Information Systems (with Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator or CISCO Certified Network Associate)
We have been working to develop innovative, flexible and cost-effective solutions to IT training by integrating vendor qualifications such as those offered by Microsoft and CISCO with more traditional academic content. If you, or your staff, are working with IT systems - networking, PC support, help desk - then this course may provide the training solution that you need.
Attendance is alternate Saturdays plus one evening alternate weeks plus some commercial training.

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS Academy)
This is a Microsoft vendor specific qualification, globally recognised in over 500 locations worldwide as a standard of excellence working with Microsoft Office applications. Excel and Word can be taken at both specialist or expert levels. Access, PowerPoint and Outlook are offered at one level only.
