Junior Chefs Academy


The Junior Chefs Academy is sponsored by Compass UK, Whitbread Plc, and The East India club, and is supported by the Academy of Culinary Arts and the Craft Guild of Chefs of Great Britain.

The course lasts for 10 weeks from 9.30am to 12.30pm and covers:
  • Basic culinary, garnishing and presentation skills
  • Hygiene
  • Basic nutrition
  • Teamwork and organisation
  • Food service techniques.
At the end of each course you will prepare a three course lunch for your parents and receive a Certificate of  Attainment.

This course is aimed at students in years 9, 10 and 11.
