What's it about?

Tourism is a massive and still growing international business - over 800 million people have taken trips in the last few years.

New places to visit are opening up all the time, from long-haul destinations in the Far East and South America to emerging eastern European destinations such as Estonia.

Meanwhile, there's a new focus on tourism within our own borders.

Who's it for?

Tourism is a massive industry offering a surprising range of career opportunities, from managing tourism resources, the marketing and promotion of tourism businesses or destinations, to global conference organising.

Moreover, the tourism industry has links to many other industry sectors such as hospitality, the charitable sector, transport and entertainment, and works closely with development initiatives, recovery programmes and projects that bring resources to the developing world.

What will I learn?

Located in the heart of Britain's tourist sector, our courses examine a range of contemporary issues and businesses, including tour operators, travel agencies and transportation businesses.

All of our courses offer a combination of academic learning and practical, industry-focused study with excellent employment opportunities.
