Fees and scholarships

Postgraduate fees

How much you pay for tuition fees depends on whether you are assessed as a home/EU or overseas student.

Find out if you are a home/EU or overseas student by visiting the UKCISA's website. This will provide you with details on the requirements you need to meet to pay 'home' level fees. These requirements will vary depending on whether you are studying a course at Higher Education level (HE) or Further Education (FE) level.

All new students are required to complete a fee status assessment, from this information the University will determine if home/EU or overseas fees are payable

EU students 2017/2018

EU students will continue to pay the same home fees as students from the UK for academic studies starting in 2017.

For 2017 enrolment, please refer to the course search pages: www.uwl.ac.uk/courses/all. Once you've searched for the course you're looking for, here you'll find the most up-to-date information available for fees and funding.

International/overseas students 2017/2018

For 2017 enrolment, please refer to the course search pages: www.uwl.ac.uk/courses/all. Once you've searched for the course you're looking for, here you'll find the most up-to-date information available for fees and funding.

How it works:

You will need to pay 50 per cent of your first year's fee as a non-refundable deposit when you accept an offer from the University of West London.

If your course lasts for a full academic year you will need to pay either:

  • The remaining 50 per cent of your fee in three equal instalments over three months following enrolment (one payment per month). All instalment payments are subject to a £50 administration charge payable in advance.

or

  • The remaining 50 per cent of your fee at enrolment, taking advantage of the early payment discount students may receive if they pay in full before their course begins.

If you are taking a single module course, a course lasting less than one academic year, or a course that costs £250 or less, fees must be paid in full at enrolment.

Payments can be made by credit card or debit card.  Please visit our How to pay page for more information.

Students on a student visa / Tier 4 visa must study on a full-time course.

Please note: Fees are paid for each year of study; you will be required to re-enrol and pay fees at the beginning of each academic year. Fees may be subject to government regulations on fee increases. Future inflationary increases will be applied to each subsequent year of the course, subject to government regulations on fee increases.

Fee sponsorship

If you are being sponsored to study in the UK as an EU or international/overseas students we will require some additional information.

EU students whose fees are being paid by a sponsor are required to supply a copy of an official sponsor letter or a completed fee guarantee form before or during enrolment.

Overseas students whose fees are being paid by an overseas sponsor will be unable to enrol onto a course unless the University receives full payment before or during enrolment.

If you are assessed as an overseas fee payer and are looking to study a part-time course, please contact our Student Finance department on 020 8280 0283 or e-mail StudentFinance@uwl.ac.uk for details on the fee you will be charged and payment arrangements.
