International Ambassador Scholarships
'The International Ambassador Scholarship has made a big difference to

makes me and my family proud.'
The International Ambassador Scholarship recognises and
provides financial support for outstanding students who wish to act as
ambassadors for the University of West London.
The application form to apply for the International Ambassador Scholarships 2012 will be available shortly. Please e-mail

We are offering
72 scholarships worth up to £3,000 for applicants applying to start in September 2012.
International ambassadors are active representatives of the University
Students are
eligible to apply for the scholarship if they have been
offered an unconditional place to study on a full-time undergraduate or
postgraduate course at the University of West London, commencing in
September 2012.
Students may apply from all countries.
There are a number of dedicated scholarships by region:
Asia:
- several scholarships worth up to £3000 are dedicated for students from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan
- several scholarships worth up to £3000 are dedicated for students from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
Indian sub-continent (including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Mauritius):

20 scholarships worth £1500

20 scholarships worth £1000
-
20 scholarships worth £500.
Middle East:
-
two scholarships worth £3000 for students from the UAE (for all residents of the UAE of any nationality)

two scholarships worth £3000 for students from Jordan.
Africa:
-
several scholarships worth up to £3000 are dedicated for students from Africa.
Rest of the world:
-
several scholarships worth £3000 for students from all other countries including those in the Americas and the Middle East.
The deadline for applications is Monday 30 July 2012.
You will be notified if you are successful by mid-August.
International Ambassadors
International Ambassadors will be active representatives of the University. They will be expected to participate in current and future promotional activities, and as such, will be interviewed and photographed by our marketing department.
The scholar will also contribute from time to time in the promotion of the University of West London by supporting events organised for scholars and by the International Office.

Successful applicants in 2011 included students from Venezuela, South Africa, Nigeria, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
