Biometric Residency Permits

From July 2015, the Home Office has introduced Biometric Residence Permits (BRP) for applicants applying for entry clearance to come to the UK for more than six months.

You must apply for a BRP at the same time as you apply for entry clearance.

If your entry clearance application is successful, you will be given a vignette valid for 30 days. This will allow you to enter the UK.

You must then collect your BRP from the Post Office branch you selected as part of your application, no later than 10 days after your arrival in the UK. Ealing Broadway is the nearest Post Office for the University of West London. Their post code is W5 2NH.

You will need a BRP before you can register for your course with UWL.

Further information about the changes in entry clearance can be found at the gov.uk website.
