Support for international students

International Office

The International Office provides help and advice on a range of issues, including the application process.

Our aim is to make it as easy as possible for you to settle in, make friends and improve your academic English and study skills.

We can help you prepare to come to the UK to study, including helping you apply for a course.

We make sure you are fully supported from the moment you arrive at the University. We provide:
  • an international orientation programme with supported enrolment and social activities
  • advice and assistance with opening bank accounts
  • information on international student organisations in the UK
  • a free pre-sessional English course available three weeks before a full-time course of study begins.
