With excellent transport links, you can be in central London in just 30 minutes. Heathrow Airport is also located just 20 minutes away on the Piccadilly Line.
Both our Ealing and Brentford sites are situated in vibrant, multicultural towns with a range of restaurants, cafes and bars. For students looking to work part-time alongside their studies, there are plenty of jobs available locally. We can even help you find one, we have strong relationships with organisations across many different industries and sectors.
What’s more, our location gives you the best of both worlds. UWL is surrounded by parks and green spaces, but easily connected to the centre of London’s cosmopolitan.
We also offer a free shuttle bus between our two campuses and Ealing Broadway, to make it even easier to get around.
Our Ealing site is located in Ealing Broadway which has excellent shopping facilities, coffee shops, cinemas, pubs, wine bars and clubs. On Fridays the Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre's Plaza becomes an open-air market where stall-holders sell antiques and collectibles. The plaza also regularly holds international food fares. Ealing has many beautiful parks to enjoy, which are regularly used for community events such as annual celebrations, fairs and festivals.
The very heart of London is less than 30 minutes by underground, with Ealing Broadway very well connected on the Central and District underground lines. It’s also a popular mainline station connecting you to the rest of the country.
Our Ealing site is located near Walpole Park and the famous Ealing Studios, where renowned actors perform some of UK’s most loved films and TV work. Our Ealing site is also situated near historic Ealing Green, home to the 18th century Pitshanger Manor Museum. Across the road from the museum is the Questors Theatre, which is the largest community theatre in Europe. Members of the theatre can participate in productions and get involved in other social activities.
For those interested in historic London, the world famous Kew Gardens, Osterley Park and Syon House are all just a short bus ride away.
Our Brentford campus is surrounded by an excellent range of leisure and cultural venues and is just 30 minutes away from central London by train. Get a feel for London life and experience the thrill of a live match by going to see a game at the local football ground, Brentford Football Club - the club is a short walk from our Brentford site.
If the arts are more your thing - visit the Watermans Art Centre just off Brentford high street, to see some great shows or visit their gallery exhibitions.
As with Ealing, Brentford is surrounded by beautiful parks, including Boston Manor Park, Gunnersbury Park and Syon Park. So you can enjoy the beauty of London and be just a short journey from the heart of the capital.
