Located in the heart of west London, a business, creative and cultural hub, the University of West London offers the perfect base to live and study in the UK. UWL offers a free shuttle bus service to all students and staff, connecting Ealing Broadway and the Ealing and Brentford Campuses.
With excellent transport links, both Central London and London Heathrow Airport are accessible in under 30 minutes by Underground (which is also called the Tube). Because of UWL's location, UWL students benefit from easy connections to London’s cosmopolitan and bustling centre, but simultaneously take advantage of Ealing’s lush parks and green spaces.
The Ealing Campus is located in between Ealing Broadway and South Ealing, providing excellent shopping and dining facilities, cinemas, traditional British pubs, bars and clubs. Ealing’s plentiful parks are often used for community events such as fairs and festivals.
The very heart of London can be reached by the Undergrounds’ Central, District and Piccadilly Lines, taking just 30 minutes. Ealing Broadway is also a popular mainline train station connecting you to beautiful Southwest England.
The famous Ealing Studios is a stone’s throw away from the Ealing Campus. Films and television programmes such as The Importance of Being Earnest (2002), Shaun of the Dead (2004), The Imitation Game (2014) and Downton Abbey were part produced here.
The Brentford campus is surrounded by an excellent range of leisure and cultural venues and is just 30 minutes away from central London by train. The local area gives a feel for London life with the option to attend live football matches at Brentford Football Club, visit the Watermans Art Centre and historic Syon Park.
