International entry requirements

Ghana

Undergraduate entry 

Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry on an undergraduate degree:

•     National Diploma (ND) with merit (GPA 2.6)

•     Higher National Diploma (HND) with merit (GPA 2.6)

•     British/International A Levels (from a minimum 112 UCAS tariff points depending on course)

•     IB Diploma (from a minimum 25 points depending on course)

•     Second and final year entry of a bachelor's degree may be available for those with a Higher National Diploma (HND) from the UK with a merit profile

•     A recognised foundation course

Postgraduate entry 

Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry on a postgraduate course:

•     Bachelor's degree with Honours: Second Class (lower division)

•     Degree equivalent to UK Honours bachelor’s degree (2.2 minimum)

•     PhD: a proposal is required in addition to a Masters qualification in a related subject area

Integrated Foundation Year

A number of our courses also offer the opportunity to study an integrated foundation year which forms an integral part of the degree course.  Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry on a degree with an integrated foundation year:

•     Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSC/SSSEC): C6 in six subjects including mathematics
