Before you arrive at the University make sure that you logon to our Virtual Learning Site, West London Online (details below), and test your academic skills in the areas of:
- referencing
- academic writing
- grammar.
These skills are essential in Higher Education and developing them will help improve your chances of success on your course.
The details below tell you how to log on to our Study Support Online site and take the three tests.
Once you have taken them you will be offered immediate feedback and a range of online resources to help you develop these skills further.
The tests can be taken as many times as you like, in any order and there are no time limits on any of the tests.
Do not worry if you get a low score at first, the tests are there, along with the online resources, to help you develop these essential skills and recognise where you may need further development.
