The University provides you with a free email account whilst you study with us.
Various University services, your tutors, the Library and the Students’ Union will send important emails to your student email, so you need to ensure you can access it, login, and use it to your advantage.
As a student of the University of West London, you are responsible for regularly checking your University of West London student email account.
You can access your email account from both inside and outside the University.
You may already have a personal email account (with gmail, hotmail, yahoo etc), but you should use your University of West London email for all email correspondence with the University. It is possible to set up a forwarding service from your University of West London student email account to another email account, such as a personal one, if you wish.
Your email address follows the format based on your eight digit student ID number: email@example.com
Further information on our email facilities, and how to use them, can be found in the student handbook.
If you have any queries or problems with the usage of the University of West London's IT facilities, please contact the IT Service Desk on +44 (0)208 231 2310 (using option 1) or alternatively email firstname.lastname@example.org
