Music theory papers


Past music theory papers are a valuable tool for exam preparation, providing you with a clear example of the type and format of questions that may appear in the exam.

There are three methods of obtaining past papers:

1. Music Exchange (annual sets)
Grade papers are available from our distributor, Music Exchange. At present, sets of papers are available for each grade for 2008, 2009 and 2010.

2. LCM Ebooks (digital downloads)

Digital downloads of past theory papers are available through the website www.LCMEbooks.org. All past papers since 2002 are available - as well as worked papers for Summer 2010 and Theory Handbooks up to Grade 5 - as downloadable pdf files.

3. LCM Exams

Worked papers for Grades 6-8 and past papers for Diplomas in Irish and Scottish Traditional Music are available direct from LCM Examinations; the order form may be downloaded here:
