About us
LCM Junior College is a vibrant setting in which to learn music and find new friends with similar musical interests.
We're geared towards making music and learning in an encouraging environment, for beginners through to advanced musicians, from the age of 7 to 19 years old.
How we teach
Tuition is based on the classical tradition but within the informality of a modern university setting, and students are given the freedom to explore their music of choice.
Performance opportunities
Performance opportunities include end-of-term concerts (as a soloist or with other musicians from within the College), instrumental ensembles, the junior choir, singing and piano masterclasses.
One-on-one lessons
Individual lessons are available for any instrument, and are taken with tutors who are professional musicians currently working in the music business.
Exam preparation
We also provide vital preparation for GCSEs, A Levels and the Cambridge Pre-U Examination, as well as for grade exams in both music and drama. Those wishing to go on to university, conservatoire or music college will also find the training invaluable.
