All registered UWL students and employees can access the Library e-resources collection. (Access rights for staff or students at franchise institutions may vary. Please contact us to confirm). These e-resources are provided through subscriptions and maintained by the Library. Because these e-resources are not freely available on the Internet they require a login.
Most of the e-resources we subscribe to are accessible using your Library e-direct login details, which in most cases are the same as your UWL My Password login details (The same as those needed to login to UWL networked computers, Blackboard, the Student Portal and more...)
Help Accessing e-resources
If you are experiencing problems accessing e-resources with your My Password details it may be because they have expired for security purposes. Visit the IT Password Selfservice and follow the instructions on the page. If you continue to experience problems after this then please contact the IT Service Desk.
*New members of staff may also need to register here once while connected to the UWL network in order to access the full range of resources on offer. Please contact IT for assistance.
Services with individual passwords
Some e-resources require login details other than, or in addition to your Library e-direct / My Password details. These resources will have a note on their individual A-Z list entry explaining this in further detail.
