We run a range of pre-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate courses, that meet local, national and international (through the Masters and doctoral studies courses) midwifery education needs.
Our students get the opportunity to study related subjects, to help ensure they develop into midwives who are competent and confident to practise in current and future maternity care settings.
Our pre-registration students study the theoretical aspects of the course at university, but also get practical experience in a maternity unit placement.
We have a dynamic group of research students who are currently working on diverse topics relating to midwifery and childbirth, some students progressing from our Masters course in midwifery.
