Best in the West: UWL named Environmental Corporate of the Year at West London Business 2024 Awards

The University of West London has been rewarded for its commitment to sustainability and its work towards becoming a net-zero carbon institution by 2030 at the West London Business 2024 Awards, where it won Environmental Corporate of the Year.

The students were given talks about careers at BA and employability skills, as well as getting to experience the airline’s Boeing 747, 777 and 787 flight simulators.

Platinum music producer RP9 and manager Cem visit the University of West London to share industry insights

Richard ‘RP9’ Tucker has worked with artists including Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sande and Central Cee, who recently won two MOBO awards. Cem, who runs music management company Rebel Records, has worked with artists including Big Narstie, Akala and Jax Jones.

Dressed to impress – UWL Business students celebrate Student of the Year Awards

Over 100 students plus family and friends attended a Student of the Year Awards ceremony at Paragon House in Brentford recently. Awards were presented to students at the Claude Littner Business School, part of the University of West London, at various levels of study and on a range of courses at the School.

UWL Computing and Engineering students develop new skills at Enhancement Week workshops

More than 100 students participated in a range of special workshops looking at how to successfully apply for jobs, manage their social media presence and improve their first aid knowledge.
