UWL to sponsor Ealing Trailfinders for 5th year

The University of West London (UWL) is delighted to announce that it is renewing its sponsorship of Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club for a fifth consecutive season.

Under the agreement, UWL will continue as back of short sponsor of the Club, will sponsor player Aled Jenkins, and will work with Ealing Trailfinders throughout the season on a range of community and promotional activities.

Professor Anthony Woodman, Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of West London, said: ‘The relationship with Ealing Trailfinders is of great importance to UWL. It demonstrates our commitment to our local community, and also sends a message to our students that UWL is working to give them every opportunity to get involved with key local organisations and clubs. We look forward to working with Ealing Trailfinders, and wish them every success for the coming season.’

Ben Ward, Ealing Trailfinders Director of Rugby, is thrilled to be continuing the agreement with the university: ‘UWL have been great supporters of Ealing Trailfinders for the past four seasons, so to be working together again is great news,' he said. 'We look forward to welcoming them down to Vallis Way throughout the year and building on the relationship.’

Jacob Pepper, captain of Ealing Rangers, UWL’s men’s rugby team, said: ’I think that the university’s continued sponsorship of Ealing Trailfinders is great news. They are an excellent club with aspirations to get even bigger. Using their facilities is a fantastic feature of being at UWL, and a number of our players have gone on to play for their amateur sides, so the links are growing all the time.’
