How do I apply?
For pre-registration nursing courses (Degree and Diploma level) must be applied for via
UCAS.
Be sure to check helpful advice when writing your
personal statement for application.
Direct applications are required to apply for a
post-registration nursing course.
Do I need to attend an interview?
Yes, if you meet the entry criteria and your application is accepted you will need to attend a selection day.
During the selection day you will be assessed on your numeracy and literacy skills.
Successful numeracy and literacy assessments are followed by an interview.

What is the difference between the Degree and Advanced Diploma?
The academic entry criteria is higher for the Degree (200 UCAS points) than for the Advanced Diploma (180 UCAS points).
All students are taught together for a large part of the course; however degree students are required to attain a higher academic level throughout the course and would be assessed accordingly.
On successful completion of the Degree or the Advanced Diploma, you will be able to seek registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

How much will the course cost me?
Students studying a pre-registration nursing course will get their tuition fees paid for in full by the NHS and you may be eligible to receive a bursary (certain residency and eligibility criteria apply).
