V Awards

The annual UWL Volunteering Awards are a celebration of all the volunteering done by our students during the past year, while also recognising the exceptional support from charities and academic schools to encourage student volunteering at UWL and in our local communities.

All students and graduates who have volunteered whether independently or through the University are eligible to nominate themselves (or be nominated) for a VAward, which will be presented at the ceremony.

This year’s VAwards will be hosted on Tuesday 7 May 2024 from 5pm - 7:30pm at Weston Hall, St Mary's Road site. Remember to check your emails for an invite to the event.

All this volunteering has helped me to learn about the kind and generous work my community does for the elderly and the homeless. It has made me aware that our time spent volunteering makes a massive and positive difference to people around us.
