Creative Campus Initiative   

Creative responses to the 2012 Olympic Games

University of West London is part of the Creative Campus Initiative (CCI), a new consortium of 13 Higher Education Institutions in the South East delivering a dynamic programme of cultural events and artworks in response to the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.

Historical, cultural and social issues raised by the Games will be addressed by artists, students and academics alongside new learning materials and workshops with schools and local communities.

The CCI is funded by the Higher Education Funding Council of England and is an initiative of the HE Cultural Forum.

Our mission

To produce an innovative programme of high quality arts and cultural events in response to the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics Games, reflecting the distinctive strengths of creative and cultural practice in higher education in the South East.
