Berkshire sites
The specialist education Hub, Fountain House, in Reading town centre enables the University to deliver its nursing and midwifery programmes across the region in partnership with the NHS.
Reading boasts beautiful unspoilt stretches of river and some of the best shopping and dining.
The Berkshire Hub is in walking distance of the main railway and bus stations, adjacent to car parking and within easy reach of the town's 'park and ride' bus stops. You can get to London Paddington by train in less than 30 minutes.
Walking
Fountain House is above the Broad Street Mall in Reading. The entrance is on Queen's Walk, a pedestrian walkway running between Oxford Road and the Civic Centre, at the rear of the Broad Street Mall.
From Oxford Road, turn into Queen's Walk between Argos and the Penta Hotel, and the entrance to Fountain House is about half-way down on the left.
Train
The Berkshire Hub is about five minutes walk away from Reading rail station. Trains run to London Paddington in less than 30 minutes.
Parking
There is no parking at Fountain House itself. The University has an arrangement with Garrard Street car park, near the station (about five minutes walk away), for discounted parking.
To take advantage of this please bring your car park ticket into Fountain House where it can be marked for the discount. Other, closer, car parks are available at full normal rates.
