The film will be based on Lotte's blogs about her experience in the music industry, which gained huge amounts of followers keen to hear her story. Not only will Lotte be making an impact on screen but she will also be releasing her debut album 'Plain Jane' through her own record label, Raindog Records, on 30 January 2012. Bob Guinn, Technology Enhanced Learning Developer and Consultant, studied Bsc Computing and Information Systems at the University. He was awarded the honour for his project on maintaining and updating a data warehouse system that predicts student performance and dropout possibility. The original system, the Mining Course Management System (MCMS), identifies students with poor performance who are at risk of dropping out and flags this up to their lecturers and the student themselves. The advert was designed to help inform the local community that the shop was open for business and to publicly thank its supporters. Simon is chairman of the Association for the Study of the Art of Record Production (ASARP) and the lectures have been timed to coincide with the 7th Annual Art of Record Production Conference at San Francisco State University. The theme of how musical performance practice has had to adapt to the changing technologies of recording practice is the subject of a research project that Simon is developing in conjunction with academics and industry professionals from around the UK as well as the US, Denmark and Norway under the auspices of ASARP.
