The University of West London Business School has announced that it is now offering a dual qualification with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) for both undergraduate and postgraduate level courses. The qualification will be awarded to all graduates who study Business on completion of their degree.
All University of West London students studying an MBA will gain CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership on completion of their Masters.
Students who complete their BA Business Studies will be awarded a CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. While the career enhancing prospects of gaining a CMI qualification are well-established, the financial savings from gaining the CMI qualifications are a major advantage.
Usha Mistry, Course leader for BA Business Studies, said: 'This is a very rare and valuable opportunity for our students to be offered dual qualification from both UWL Business School and the CMI.
The fact that they are able to gain both of these prestigious academic credentials while studying for their degree, with no further separate assessments required, is very attractive for the students. It makes their study at the University more productive, intense and greatly enhances their career prospects at the end of their studies.'
