Green Travel Day
Tuesday 12th February 2013
we are pleased to announce that the next Green Travel day is fast approaching and we are hoping it will be bigger and better than before.
there will be the usual events, like Rollapalusa, Blendavenda and the driving simulator, plus quizzes, free breakfast  for those that have cycled or walked to the Univerisity.

University of West London Cycling Event Day 2011
Tuesday 1 November, 11.45am - 6pm
Come along to the courtyard, (at the end of the main corridor at the St. Marys Road, Ealing site) where we are holding our first cycling day. There will be Dr. Bike sessions, a workshop, and experts on hand to answer any of your queries, whether they be bike security, maintenance, or journey planning.

Golden Mile Mobility Day 2011

Why not come along and be inspired to do a bit more walking or cycling.
There will be various stalls, including GoCycle electric bike trials, the latest electric vehicles from Lexus, walking doctor surgeries and much, much more.
This is a free event to compliment European Mobility Week so don't miss out!

We are pleased to announce that the University of West London Travel survey is now available to complete online, and we would appreciate the feedback of staff and students. It is two years since our last survey and the updated information will be invaluable in helping us identify where better site access is needed, and more specific travel information for your needs.

University of West London wins travel planning award
June 2010
University of West London has been awarded Sapphire status under a new scheme sponsored by WestTrans and West London Business to recognise achievement and excellence in the development of sustainable transport strategies.

The scheme, which is a voluntary travel plan accreditation scheme, has three levels - Ruby, Sapphire and Gold. Stage 2 - the Sapphire stage - was awarded to University of West London in recognition of the fact that it has 'shown active promotion of sustainable transport for business and commuter travel as part of their Workplace Travel Plan'.

The Facilities department has been leading the development of University of West London's travel strategy and will be continuing to work towards Gold standard, which requires that the University demonstrate a shift away from private car use.
