Biography:

 

Gail graduated with a very progressive performance degree in Expressive Arts. Since then her professional career has included a variety of artistic disciplines: Theatre, Multidisciplinary Performance, Site-specific work, Movement, Dance, Martial Arts, Visual Arts and Screen writing (MA).

As an actor and co-creator she has worked with a broad range of companies; from large scale (Royal Shakespeare Company, Manchester Royal Exchange) to her own small-scale Producing Company (Might & Main) which was Arts Council funded and toured productions in the UK and Europe. She is also an associate artist of TNT Theatre and has toured extensively on the International stage; playing amongst other roles, Lady Macbeth to audiences in 4 continents.

Recent work includes Directing ‘Peter Pan’ in Germany, production of her second short film ‘Dark Clowns’, and movement consultancy for the ‘Wolfblood’ series 4 (BBC). Alongside her professional artistic career, she also directs and coaches at ArtsEd; leading the curriculum in Physical Practice training for the BA Acting, MA Acting and BA Musical Theatre students.
