Every February students from across the UK take part in Student Volunteering and Employment Week.

This is a perfect opportunity for students and graduates from the University of West London to take part in a showcase of events which helps them develop skills, gain experience and prepare for the graduate job market, whilst also making a positive difference to their local community.
 
The next Student Volunteering and Employment Week will be 18 – 24 February 2013.

Below is an outline of events that we ran in Student Volunteering and Employment Week 2012:

• Photographic workshop with children with autism
• Samba drumming performance and workshop with YMCA
• Volunteer and part-time jobs fair
• Charity clothes sale in aid of Cancer Research UK
• Forensic workshop with Paddington Academy, Year 7
• ICT 'Designing websites' with Paddington Academy, Year 9
• Environmental challenge weekend away.
