Speaker’s biography

Anil SinghAnil Singh Rana is an Award-Winning Graduate Building Surveyor and Award-Winning Fellow Mentor of the RICS, Passionate Enthusiast of the Built Environment, Construction Project Management Savvy, Construction Blogger and is a Global Ambassador for the RICS.

He trained as a Building Surveyor and Construction Project Manager in London and achieved a first class honours degree in Building Surveying at London South Bank University, and a distinction in Construction Project Management at University of Westminster.

He became a fellow of the RICS in 2014 aged 35 and is a PRINCE2 Practitioner. He has 15 years of experience in the construction industry and extensive experience of planning, organising and coordinating people on fast-paced construction projects and is highly motivated and passionate in timely delivery of projects alongside quality at the fore. Anil’s core skills are his lateral thinking, attention to detail, delivery focused, enthusiasm and passion for construction, professional approach and communicating effectively with people at all levels and backgrounds especially in challenging environments.

He has a proven track record of delivery through being a ‘team player’ that integrates quickly with the clients’ team and ardently champions an integrated project team approach with health and safety at the fore on all his projects. Anil is a Global Mentor/Ambassador and UK APC Assessor for the RICS and have mentored APC candidates in England, Mauritius, South Africa, Singapore and Australia. Last but not least, Anil won the prestigious accolade of the RICS Matrics Mentor of the Year in November 2016.

This year, Anil has delivered Construction CPDs in India, Mauritius, London and Canada.
