Research topic

Utilisation of Fly Ash for ground improvement

Summary

The aim of this research is to determine, through a comprehensive analysis using laboratory tests and numerical simulations, the optimum quantity of fly ash content in three different types of stabilised soils. Clay, silt and fine sand were chosen for this research. For a comparison analysis, all the samples will be tested before and after being treated with three different curing durations, 1 week, 4 weeks and 13 weeks.
