Media and Communications
The BA (Hons) Media and Communications degree gives you the opportunity to gain a practical understanding of a range of media, including new and emerging platforms (such as digital and social media), as well as more established media forms (such as radio, television, and film).
'Work experience was extremely beneficial in giving me invaluable experience outside of a classroom environment. You can read all the text books you want, but nothing substitutes for actually learning first hand.' Michael Panter, BA (Hons) Media and Communications
This emphasis on creativity and on making media texts is complemented by a focus on critically understanding methods of communication, allowing you to put your creative practice in context.
Studying in London provides you access to key media, communications and cultural institutions. We take advantage of this with study visits, guided tours and work placements to give you experience for your CV and prepare you for employment.
