London College of Music

130 years
In 2017 we celebrated our 130 year anniversary..

At the London College of Music (LCM) we welcome those who share our passion. Whether your interests are in performance, composition, music technology, performing arts or music management, the LCM looks forward to discovering and nurturing your talent; our offer ranges from LCM Junior Music College through to Doctoral study.

Our groundbreaking courses are respected worldwide and are taught by practising industry experts who love what they do. Visiting staff from all over the globe bring with them fresh perspectives and cutting-edge knowledge.

We have a long history of music education, dating back to 1887, when we were situated in Great Marlborough Street, London, where the college began as an examination body. LCM also has its own graded examination board that work closely with Junior Music College and LCM UG / PG colleagues with many students taking an ALCM or LLCM as part of their study.

The close links and understanding that we have with the music industry, and our determination to stay in touch with the latest developments means that our graduates are among the most desirable in the UK and beyond - The Times Higher recently credited us as 'Number one for graduate employment' as part of University of West London.

You couldn't find a better location to develop your skills as we are based in West London, the hub of the UK's music and media business, with fantastic access to the famous Ealing Studios.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you well in your studies and I look forward to meeting you here at LCM.
