Undergraduate Midwifery

BFI accredited
UWL midwifery courses are BFI accredited

We offer a three-year pre-registration BSc (Hons) Midwifery course and an BSc (Hons) Midwifery (shortened) course.

Our courses are grounded in research and evidence, and we focus on normality in childbirth as well as recognising when a referral is required.

You will learn:

  • how to manage complex situations
  • skills needed to deliver a high standard of care
  • how to work autonomously as well as within a multidisciplinary team

All of this teaching will ensure you can deliver the best possible care in a safe, supportive environment to women and their families.

Our curriculum was created in conjunction with our NHS providers.
