We are delighted to be able to offer students looking to develop their career in Learning Disabilities Nursing an annual scholarship of £3,000 per year. This will be available to new Home / EU students starting the BSc (Hons) Learning Disabilities course in September 2017.

This scholarship is available to all eligible students. An application is not needed.

Path to Success Scholarship - for Home/EU entrants on a four-year degree with a foundation year starting in September 2018  

The scholarship consists of a £2,000 cash award paid over four academic years.

UWL Aspire Bursary   Worth £100 per year (up to £300 total) for full-time students and £50 per year (up to £150 total) for part-time students

If you are a full-time or part-time home/EU undergraduate student starting a programme in 2018-19 paying the £9,250 fee you should be eligible for the Aspire Bursary.

Top-up Bursary   £2,000

The University of West London is offering a Top-Up Bursary to all new Home/EU entrants enrolling in September 2018 onto Level 6 of a full-time undergraduate top-up degree. The scholarship consists of a £2,000 award.

The award consists of a £1,500 fee reduction at enrolment and a £500 payment on successful completion of the course.

All new Home/EU entrants enrolling in September 2018 onto Level 6 of a full-time undergraduate top-up degree at the University are automatically eligible and need not apply.

Helen Kennedy Foundation Bursary 7 Up to £2,250
The bursary consists of up to £2,250 together with ongoing support, mentoring and training from the Foundation 
 
To be eligible students must be in the final year at a publicly-funded further education institution at the time of applying.

Applicants must be current University of West London students pursuing a full-time course of study. The University’s selection committee will select the most deserving candidate based on academic recommendations.

If accepting this award, you must accept the following terms and conditions you must:

  • be registered on a course at the University during the 2017/2018 academic year.
  • maintain good academic standing and attendance record throughout your course.
  • attend the Donors and Scholars Lunch or any other event that the Office of Development and Alumni Relations may see fit.
  •  write a short thank you letter to the donor responsible for funding this award.
  • If successful, your academic information may be shared with the donor to keep them informed of your progression.

Applications not required; all eligible students will be considered.

Scholarships for part-time undergraduate students

Part-time scholarship   A fee waiver of £1,500 for every year of study is available for undergraduate part-time students.

In order to be eligible, students must fulfil all criteria below:

  • be Home or EU students;
  • have a household income of up to £42,875
  • studying a part-time course consisting of a minimum of four modules per year or a part-time intensive course.
  • Be paying full part-time fees
  • This scholarship is only open to part-time students starting their degree in the 2018/2019 academic year.

Graduate Diploma Discount   Fee waiver of £1,000 for all existing UWL Graduate Diploma students progressing onto MA courses. The discount will be applied automatically when an existing UWL Graduate Diploma student enrols onto a UWL MA course.
