Careers service

Welcome to the University of West London Careers Service

One of the things students will learn from the Careers Service is that completing a degree is just the start of building a CV that engages potential employers. A degree is important but you need to complement that with extracurricular activities and work experience.

For many students the Careers Service played a crucial role in helping them prepare for their careers. Our graduates have recently secured jobs with Microsoft, the Foreign Office, Deloitte and IBM, to name a few.

Careers Adviser, Hannah, says, ‘We support students throughout their time at university, helping them become one of the 98% who go onto employment or further study within six months of graduating*.’

Employment service

Recently, graduates have found jobs with technical support services company AECOM, and also Capita, the international outsourcing and professional services company.

*These are the latest figures according to Employment Performance Indicators (EPI) released by the Higher Education Statistics Agency HESA in 2018.
