Research partnerships and intellectual property development

Almost 80 percent of UWL research is rated as world-leading (4*) or internationally excellent (3*) in the latest Government Research Excellence Framework (REF) assessment. By sharing our research and technology, and drawing on our close research partnerships with businesses and industry, we find answers to problems to improve our lives.

In addition, we frequently commercialise our intellectual property (IP) through partnerships with other businesses. We support businesses that have an interest in our IP available for commercialisation and offer market research to support intellectual property development.

Community outreach and volunteering

Pyramid clubs are also run in individual schools, groups of schools or academy chains, and in voluntary organisations across the UK under a licence from the University of West London.
