There were more happy scenes at the University of West London last Saturday as the final round of winter graduation ceremonies took place at the Ealing site with students from London Geller School of Hospitality and Tourism, the School of Computing and Engineering and the School of Human and Social Sciences collecting their degrees.

Accompanied by friends and family, the graduates enjoyed an inspiring speech by the Chancellor of UWL, Laurence Geller, in whose honour the College of Hospitality and Tourism has recently been renamed. He told graduates that they 'embody the very best in our society'.

Culinary arts management graduate, Emily Jacquaye, who studied at London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism, said: 'I’ve really enjoyed my time here at the university. I loved the lecturers and I loved the university building. I am now looking forward to using my degree in the workplace.'

Capturing the celebratory mood of proceedings, Professor Joelle Fanghanel, Pro Vice Chancellor told graduates: 'Make use of your studies for the public good and celebrate in style.'
