Leading companies in the world of business, computing and engineering descended on the University of West London (UWL) to offer soon-to-be graduates employment opportunities.

Sky UK, BAE Systems and Cancer Research UK were amongst more than 30 employers hoping to snap up talent through their graduate schemes.

Becky Farmer, Senior Future Talent Advisor at BAE Systems, said:

We’re looking for the best talent to help us grow our business and develop the game-changing technology of the future. By working with UWL we know we can recruit students that are work-ready and career focused.

As Kay Stewart, Head of Careers at UWL, said:

Through events like this we are getting our students into graduate-level employment. We work closely with leading employers to make sure we’re teaching the skills they are looking for.

98% of UWL graduates are in employment or further study within six months of graduating.

UWL’s next careers fair is taking place on Tuesday, 27 November and will welcome some of the top employers from across the creative industries.
