Music and entertainment management students go to court

First year BA (Hons) Music Management students taking the Introduction to Music and Media Law module, swapped the lecture theatre for the theatre of the law courts this month with a field trip to the Royal High Courts of Justice.

It gave students the chance to put the theory they've learned into practice, and to further understand the processes and people involved in a court case.

They weren't let down with ensuing drama, with TV cameras and reporters camped outside the High Courts waiting the appeal of Alex Blackman.

They also sat in on appeals of two dramatic criminal cases and a civil case.
