UWL delighted to sponsor 10th annual Chiswick Book Festival
The University is delighted to support the Chiswick Book Festival in its tenth annual celebration of the written word, which begins today (Thursday).
On this anniversary of the Festival which features a packed calendar of fascinating book-related events, UWL is sponsoring ‘Alan Rusbridger: Breaking News’.
Taking place tomorrow (Friday), the long-serving former editor of the Guardian newspaper will mount a spirited defence of why quality, independent journalism matters today more than ever.
As a provider of high-quality education, UWL is committed to empowering students to enjoy successful careers in the media. The University offers a suite of courses such as BA (Hons) Media and Communications and also BA (Hons) English and Media and Communications, at the London School of Film, Media and Design (LSFMD).

The not-for-profit Festival is a popular fixture on the community calendar, with fun and absorbing events for families featuring high-profile talents from the worlds of publishing and media.
