Support for students

Students' Union

University of West London Students Union (UWLSU), is here to help you make the most of your University experience. In 2018 our work was recognised as the Student’s Union of the Year at the National NUS Awards.

When you enrol onto a course, you're automatically signed up to be a member of the SU. Being involved in the SU means that you can have your say on how your course is run, get the chance to meet new people by joining a sports club or society, develop your skills with a student job and try loads of new things.

Three Sabbatical Officers lead the SU and they are all elected into their roles by student-only elections – these representatives work with students and staff to help facilitate the changes that students want to see.

UWLSU’s primary focus is to ensure your voice is heard and to have the best University experience possible, regardless of your circumstances and to help with this, the SU offers free, confidential and independent advice for students facing any challenges, academic or otherwise.
