Chris moved to London in 2008 after several years successfully playing in pits and with Orchestras in the Oxfordshire area, including; The Oxford Sinfonietta, City of Oxford Orchestra and Isis Chamber Orchestra to name but a few.

The next four years were spent studying Orchestral Percussion and Timpani at the London College of Music under Jeremy Cornes, Chris Baron and Jez Wiles. During his Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies, Chris was the Fellow for Wind, Brass and Percussion for two years and formed percussion quartet 'The Baronettes'. Chris also became heavily involved with the Samba group Bloco LCM. Alongside this he also took part in numerous recordings and won the prize for outstanding contribution to music.

Since graduating, Chris has performed with numerous Orchestras such as London Graduate Orchestra, Ealing Symphony Orchestra, Cornish Sinfonia, Kings College Sinfonietta and the London Firebird Orchestra. Chris has also played in numerous musicals for the Musical Theatre course at LCM and continues to play in theatres across Oxford and the surrounding area.

Chris is also a member of Paraiso School of Samba performing all over the country and even as far as Germany. He has played in Wembley Stadium and takes part annually with Paraiso at Notting Hill Carnival. Through being a part of Paraiso, Chris was selected to be a drummer in the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic games and, more recently, was filming for 'Pan' a new feature film by Warner Bros. Another project Chris is involved with is 'Box9 Drumline', the UK's first professional drumline.
