Jody Sapsard studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Julian Farrell and Thea King. She enjoys a varied and flexible freelance career as an orchestral clarinet player, chamber musician and doubling reeds in off west end shows. Jody has a passion for music education, obtaining a PGCE from the University of Roehampton under Dr Nigel Marshall and since worked in a variety of inner London schools specializing in wider opportunity instrumental lessons, delivering music curriculum across the key stages and set up a music centre in Brent, conducting the orchestra and other chamber ensembles. Jody joined the junior department staff in 2016 and in addition has launched her own woodwind repair business, based in Ealing. Jody has co- founded the Kensington Concert Series an innovative and creative collective which aims to provide quality platforms for emerging artists and is also a member of the DEMOS ensemble in residence. She is a very proud mum of three.
