BSc in Computer & Control and MSc in Mechtronics from the University of Technology/Iraq. PhD degree in Wireless Networks and Communications from Brunel University/UK.
My main research interests are in developing intelligent systems to model, control and optimise operations in industry and communication networks. The disciplines I have been involved in so far are:
- Artificial intelligence and evolutionary algorithms. Such as Intelligent system techniques including fuzzy logic (FL), neural networks (NN), neuro-fuzzy systems (NFS), genetic algorithms (GAs), particle swarm optimisation (PSO), empirical model decomposition (EMD).
- Modelling and optimizing operations of Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) routing protocols in communication systems.
- Monitoring, modelling and controlling oil pipeline grid.
- Intelligent energy storage and distribution management for microgrids and integrated transportation systems.
- Internet of Things (IoT) to develop better Quality of service (QoS) in microgrid system.
- Develop advanced process modelling, optimisation and control strategies.
