Biography:

 

An exceptional creative producer, educator and project manager, with 15 years of management and production experience for a range of broadcasters, arts and education establishments and creative industry clients, brokering, producing and teaching worldwide.

These include the UK's major broadcaster, the BBC and prestigious creative outfits including the Royal Opera House, Microsoft (Mix Radio), The Roundhouse, and Film London. Sue has set up extensive broadcast and delivery systems, trained media professionals and aspiring young creatives and collaboratively implemented the launch of youth radio station, Roundhouse Radio. She continues to champion podcasting and audio content as a creative medium and marketing tool in both industry and education sectors.

She has produced a vast portfolio of specialized Radio Documentaries, most recently for BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra 'British Inside', which delved into the world of the British Immigration System. Known for utilizing digital education tools, initiating innovative ways to integrate enhanced podcasting and online education tools in multi platform projects, she recently worked on an event for Microsoft, developing their strategic vision to launch the 'Mix Radio' Radio Player system on a global scale. On the visual production side of things, she produced her first series of promo films for Stratford's 'Outstanding' free school 'School21', in the heart of East London, not only promoting the work of the school but documenting their practice and research into 'Oracy' the art of speaking, a project and curriculum supported by Cambridge University.

Sue has recently been appointed Chair of the Sound Women Training Group, who are responsible for providing cutting edge radio and audio events and training services throughout the UK. Sue Lectures in Radio at the University of West London where she is Joint Course Leader for the new Radio and Multimedia Audio Production degree which she wrote in collaboration with her colleague, Pam Myers, again, demonstrating her ability to lead in the cutting edge of both multiplatform technology and future education.
