International entry requirements

Hong Kong

Undergraduate entry 

Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry on an undergraduate degree:

•     Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE)

•     HK A-level (HKALE) with a UCAS tariff score of a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points depending on course

•     Associate degree with a 2.6 GPA or above

•     British/International A Levels (from a minimum 112 UCAS tariff points depending on course)

•     IB Diploma (from a minimum 25 points depending on course)

•     Second and final year entry of a bachelor's degree may be available for those with a Higher National Diploma (HND) from the UK with a merit profile

•     A recognised foundation course

Postgraduate entry 

Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry on a postgraduate course:

•     Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.6 or higher

•     Degree equivalent to UK Honours bachelor’s degree (2.2 minimum)

•     PhD entry: a proposal is required in addition to a Master’s qualification in a related subject area.

Integrated Foundation Year

A number of our courses also offer the opportunity to study an integrated foundation year which forms an integral part of the degree course.  Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry on a degree with an integrated foundation year:

•     Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)
